Following Russian shelling in Kherson around 11 a.m. on 19 November, a three-year-old girl suffered severe injuries, as reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson military administration. The child is now in intensive care.

“The doctors diagnosed her with blast injuries, multiple shrapnel wounds, a penetrating chest injury, general concussion, closed head trauma, and lung contusions. There is also suspicion of shrapnel near the vascular bundle in her chest cavity,” Prokudin reported on Telegram.

After stabilizing the child’s condition, a CT scan is planned. The head of the regional military administration suggested a possible transfer to a hospital in Kyiv.

The girl’s grandmother, who was walking with her granddaughter during the shelling, is also hospitalized. In addition, two other women and a man were injured. Earlier, the Kherson city authorities reported that on 19 Npvember Russian troops shelled the city five times.
