Acting Special Coordinator for the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment Matza’s Travel to San Francisco
Office of the Spokesperson Acting Special Coordinator for the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI) Helaina Matza will travel to San Francisco November 15-16 to participate in meetings during Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Week. In San Francisco, she will advance ongoing PGI-led efforts to advance investment in quality, sustainable infrastructure opportunities in the Indo-Pacific. Acting Special Coordinator Matzawill meet with government officials also attending Leaders’ Week as well as private sector partners to discuss potential infrastructure financing in the Asia-Pacific region. Acting Special Coordinator Matza will also attend the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGI) Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) Investor Forum co-hosted by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and Senior Advisor to the President Amos Hochstein. This forum will focus on identifying ways to mobilize capital, unlock sustainable long-term economic growth, facilitate commercial activity, and strengthen supply chains in IPEF countries.
