Assistant Secretary Michele J. Sison Attends Francophonie Organization Meeting
Office of the Spokesperson Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs Ambassador Michele J. Sison will travel January 18-19 to Paris, France to lead the U.S. delegation at the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) meeting on Haiti. Assistant Secretary Sison will serve as a panelist alongside the Special Representative of the Secretary General for the United Nations Integrated Office in Haiti to discuss security in Haiti and the Multinational Security Support (MSS) mission to Haiti. Assistant Secretary Sison will also meet with the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs on a variety of multilateral and UN issues.
