Assistant Secretary Witkowsky’s Travel to the United Kingdom
Office of the Spokesperson Assistant Secretary of State for Conflict and Stabilization Operations Anne A. Witkowsky will travel to the United Kingdom February 11-14 for a dialogue on approaches to conflict resolution hosted by the Foreign, Commonwealth, & Development Office. Assistant Secretary Witkowsky will represent the United States at Wilton Park and participate in multilateral discussions on enhancing collaboration among state actors, multilateral organizations, and the peacebuilding NGO community. She will chair a panel on adapting future conflict resolution efforts to shifting geopolitics and emerging technology. While in the United Kingdom, Assistant Secretary Witkowsky will also meet with multilateral and non-governmental organizations on conflict prevention and mediation initiatives worldwide, including efforts under the U.S. Strategy to Prevent Conflict and Promote Stability.
