Details: The Russians reported that an explosion had occurred at the Ural plant on the morning of 31 October. The region's authorities reported that "there is no threat to the population after the explosion in the workshop of the Ural plant in Solikamsk."
Later, the facility's representative told the Russian media that the explosion at the plant "occurred at a time when no one was in this building; currently, work continues as usual."
The Solikamsk Ural plant is one of the largest military-industrial plants in the Russian Federation, and is a part of the Rostec state corporation. Explosive materials and industrial explosives, including powder for small arms and projectiles, are manufactured there.
