Ukrainian forces maintain positions on the Eastern Bank of the Dnipro in Kherson Oblast and continue to engage Russian troops effectively, according to the daily evening report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian aviation conducted two strikes on Russian personnel concentrations, and Ukrainian missile units targeted areas with Russian personnel, weaponry, and military equipment, destroying three enemy ammunition depots during the day.
The Russian army carried out 16 airstrikes and launched 41 rocket artillery salvos on Ukrainian positions and numerous residential areas. Moreover, the enemy used Shahed attack drones to target critical infrastructure in Ukraine, causing civilian casualties and damage to residential buildings and other infrastructure.
In the Kupiansk axis, the Russians launched multiple unsuccessful assault operations near Synkivka, east of Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv Oblast. Despite facing relentless attacks, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven Russian offensives.
In the Bakhmut axis, the Russians launched assaults near Klishchiivka and Andriivka in Donetsk Oblast, but Ukrainians repelled a total of 11 attacks.
In the Avdiivka axis, Ukrainian Forces successfully repelled 9 Russian assault attempts east of Novokalynove, east of Novobakhmutivka, Sjeverne, and Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast.
The Ukrainian forces repelled 13 attacks as the Russians launched unsuccessful assaults near Maryinka and Pobjeda (Donetsk Oblast) in the Maryinka axis. On the Shakhtarske axis, Russians unsuccessfully conducted assault operations west of Staromaiorske, Donetsk Oblast.
According to the report, Ukrainian forces are advancing on the Melitopol and Bakhmut fronts, exerting pressure on Russian troops across the entire frontline. There were a total of 45 battles on the frontline during the day.
