Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has announced Germany is preparing a new “winter” assistance package which will include air defense systems.
The package worth over $1,4 bn would come amid threats of Russian attacks on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure during the upcoming cold season.
“Germany is preparing a 1.4 billion euro winter aid package for Ukraine, including air defense equipment,” the prime minister wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
