Jon Bon Jovi released a patriotic song called “The People’s House” Friday along with an endorsement of the Harris-Walz campaign on the social platform X.
“The People’s House is a song that celebrates this beautiful place that we call home, from sea to shining sea,” the singer-songwriter wrote. “The truth matters.”
“And the truth is on election day I’ll be voting for @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz because I believe in the power of we, not of me. I’ve written a song reminding us that out of many, we are still one,” he later added.
The new ballad comes after the artist underwent vocal surgery following years of famed musicianship.
The Second Gentleman, Doug Emhoff, thanked Bon Jovi for the post.
“It’s my wife, and it’s now or never. Election’s coming in November,” Emhoff posted on X. “Thanks for supporting Kamala, @JonBonJovi!”
Over the years, Bon Jovi has remained politically involved, releasing songs in the wake of George Floyd’s death and in support of President Biden.
Prior to that, he campaigned with Al Gore and was appointed by President Obama to the Council for Community Solutions.
