Journalist and soldier Andrii Nikitin found dead in Dnipro

Journalist and serviceman Andrii Nikitin from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast has been found dead after several days of searching.

Details: The circumstances of Nikitin’s death are currently unknown. Andrii was searched for several days. His sister reported that he left his parents on 12 December and did not return or contact them after that.

Andrii Nikitin worked for the Vidkrrytyi (Open) TV channel and the Nashe Misto (Our City) media holding. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the summer of 2024.

Andrii will be buried in the village of Bashmachka on 20 December at 12:30.
