Search and rescue operations have ended in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, following a Russian missile attack on the local police headquarters on 27 September. Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, confirmed four fatalities and six injuries, with three victims still hospitalized in stable condition.

The missile struck at 9:16 AM, merely four minutes after air raid sirens sounded. Emergency services, employing 56 rescuers and 11 vehicles, have cleared 90% of the debris, removing 650 tons of rubble.

“Emergency services personnel are still on site, clearing the debris of the police headquarters devastated by the enemy,” Lysak stated on Telegram, underscoring the ongoing efforts to manage the aftermath.

The police headquarters was destroyed, while the blast damaged 23 private homes, three nine-story residential buildings, an educational institution, and over 80 vehicles. The city will observe a day of mourning on 30 September to honor the victims of this attack.
