Trump's never been more popular than he is right now, despite everything that they've thrown at him. The world has changed since President Obama came on the scene. Back then, the Democrats could claim that they opposed Dick Cheney and all his wars. Now they're the party of Dick Cheney.
Back then, they could claim that Cheney and other Republicans were the party of the rich. Now the Republicans are the ones campaigning in the barber shops, while the Democrats are propped up by plutocrats. Obama — still a talented spokesman, don't get me wrong — but I think we all agree now that he speaks for the establishment, not the people.
