This morning, the meeting House task force investigating the assassination attempt against Trump also spiraled into a shouting match between a Republican lawmaker and the acting Secret Service director.
Pete Hegseth, President-elect Trump’s pick to lead the Pentagon, is on Capitol Hill again trying to salvage his nomination, as his confirmation prospects look bleak.
