Local authority building damaged in Russian ballistic missile strike on Odesa Oblast

Russian forces struck the civilian infrastructure of Odesa Oblast with a ballistic missile on the night of 25-26 June, damaging a local authority building but leaving no one injured.

Details: Ukrainian forces reported that the Russians had targeted the southern Ukrainian oblasts overnight.

In particular, the Russians launched the first strike on Mykolaiv Oblast with a guided missile from a tactical aircraft. The hit caused dry grass to catch fire in an open area. The fire was quickly put out. No people were injured.

The second strike involved a ballistic missile targeting Odesa Oblast.

Background: On the night of 25-26 June, an explosion rocked Odesa Oblast. Ukrainian forces warned of a ballistic missile threat from occupied Crimea and a high-speed target heading towards Odesa Oblast.
