Details: The Air Force also reported that a missile had been fired towards Kyiv. Air defence is responding.
At least two explosions were heard in the capital. An air-raid warning was issued after the explosions.
Serhii Popko, Head of Kyiv City Military Administration, said preliminary information indicated that wreckage had fallen in the Pecherskyi district as a result of the missile attack on Kyiv.
"A residential building was damaged. The emergency services are heading to the scene. The information is being confirmed," he said.
Klitschko said that emergency services were currently being called to the Pecherskyi, Solomianskyi and Dniprovskyi districts of the capital. Crews were on their way to the scene.
Update: Popko said early reports indicated that a multi-storey building in the Pecherskyi district had been damaged as a result of a missile attack.
Additionally, missile wreckage had fallen in the Solomianskyi and Dniprovskyi districts.
"Emergency services are on their way to the scene. Information regarding damage and casualties is being confirmed," he noted.
Kyiv City Military Administration said that missile wreckage had been found in woodland in the Holosiivskyi district.
Klitschko said that a three-storey non-residential building in the Pecherskyi district had been damaged by the missile debris. Emergency services are working at the scene.
"So far, one person who was injured has been found and is being treated by medics on the spot," he added.
Mykola Kalashnyk, acting head of Darnytskyi District Administration, reported that after the missile attack, pieces of a missile had damaged a private residential building in the Osokorky neighbourhood without causing a fire.
"I have arrived personally on the spot. Emergency services are working at the scene. There are no casualties," he said.
Update at 11:30: Kyiv City Military Administration reported that a non-residential building had been damaged in the Pecherskyi district without subsequent fire as a result of the missile strike on Kyiv.
A multi-storey building was damaged in the Solomianskyi district.
Wreckage was observed falling in the Dniprovskyi and Holosiivskyi districts.
Emergency services are working at the scene. Information about casualties is being established. Operational data is being updated and confirmed.
Update at 11:46.The number of people who were injured has increased to five.
