Ukrainian and Russian forces have clashed 72 times across the war zone since the beginning of the day, with 25 combat engagements occurring on the Pokrovsk front. Additionally, the Russians have dropped 12 guided aerial bombs on the town of Toretsk.

Quote: "So far, the number of combat engagements has increased to 72. The situation is most challenging on the Pokrovsk front.

The border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts came under enemy fire. The aggressor launched attacks near the settlements of Bila Bereza, Prohres, Seredyna-Buda, Stari Vyrky, Katerynivka, Obody and Bleshnia.

Five combat engagements took place on the Kharkiv front since the beginning of the day. Ukrainian forces successfully repelled four attacks near the settlements of Hlyboke, Tykhe and Vovchansk. A combat engagement is still in progress."

Details: On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces attempted to storm Ukrainian positions near the village of Stelmakhivka twice. Ukrainian defenders repelled these attacks.

On the Lyman front, the Russians mounted attacks near the settlements of Makiivka, Nevske and Torske. There have been seven combat engagements in this area since the beginning of the day.

On the Kramatorsk front, Russian troops attempted to push Ukrainian units from their positions five times. Ukrainian soldiers repelled four assaults near the settlements of Klishchiivka and Ivanivske. A combat engagement is still in progress near the war-torn town of Chasiv Yar.

On the Toretsk front, the Russians, supported by attack and bomber aircraft, assaulted Ukrainian positions 10 times. Four combat engagements are currently underway near the settlements of Toretsk, Zalizne and New-York. The Russians have dropped 12 guided aerial bombs on Toretsk since the beginning of the day.

The situation on the Pokrovsk front remains tense. Fierce fighting is taking place near the settlements of Kalynove, Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Zhelanne, Serhiivka, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka. The Russians have made 25 attempts to storm Ukrainian positions so far.

On the Kurakhove front, the Russians have attacked Ukrainian troops three times since the beginning of the day. They tried to advance near the settlements of Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka.

On the Vremivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled four Russian assaults towards the settlement of Velyka Novosilka. Russian aircraft struck the town of Vuhledar with guided aerial bombs and rockets near the settlements of Makarivka, Urozhaine and Staromaiorske.

The Russians launched four unsuccessful attempts to storm the positions of Ukrainian troops on the Prydniprovske front since the beginning of the day.
