Ukraine's military downed 26 of 28 drones Russian laucnhed overnight into 28 March
Russian military launched a missile and air strike on Ukraine overnight into 28 March with three Kh-22 cruise missiles and a Kh-31P anti-radar missile, an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile, and 28 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.
Russia launched targets from the Black Sea, from the occupied part of Donetsk Oblast, from Kursk Oblast, Russia, and Cape Chauda of Russian-occupied Crime.
Ukraine’s Air Defense reported it shot down 26 of 28 Shahed-136/131 drones over Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia oblasts.
Russian forces hit the Kyiv district in Kharkiv Oblast, damaging civilian infrastructure facilities: a restaurant, a shop, and office space, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said. There were no casualties.
On 27 March, Russia hit Kharkiv at about 4 pm, killing a 59-year-old man and injuring 19 others, including four children. Russia also shelled the village Borova in the oblast, killing a 12-year-old boy, according to the governor.
Russian drone attack on Zaporizhzhia Oblast at night injured two women and damaged private houses, Governor Ivan Fedorov said.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the Russian military shelled and attacked with drones Nikopol district, injuring a 65-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, Governor Serhii Lysak said. The local officials did not report downed drones.
