Russia loses 1,270 soldiers and 47 artillery systems over past day

Russian forces have lost 1,270 soldiers, 14 tanks, 22 armoured combat vehicles and 47 artillery systems over the past 24 hours.

Details: The total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February 2022 and 3 June 2024 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]: 

• 511,130 (+1,270) military personnel;
• 7,779 (+14) tanks;
• 15,002 (+22) armoured combat vehicles;
• 13,280 (+47) artillery systems;
• 1,090 (+1) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 824 (+3) air defence systems;
• 357 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 326 (+0) helicopters;
• 10,739 (+40) strategic and tactical UAVs;
• 2,268 (+0) cruise missiles;
• 27 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 18,159 (+67) vehicles and tankers;
• 2,199 (+4) special vehicles and other equipment.
