Russia sends its troops to death to reveal Ukrainian defenses on battlefield
Russian troops are being sent on suicidal missions with no chance of survival, while artillery fire deliberately targets their own forces to reveal Ukrainian positions.
The Russian command easily sends their troops on “one-way” missions to storm Ukrainian positions with virtually no chance of survival, according to ArmyInform.
The Russian military also deliberately shells its own infantry from artillery on the Kharkiv front, says Lieutenant Colonel Anton Baiev, head of the planning division of the 13th Operational Brigade “Khartia” of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Russian forces expose Ukrainian positions by throwing soldiers into the most challenging operations, specifically to divert attention and provoke Ukrainian troops to fire at them.
This deadly tactic for the occupiers’ infantry allowed them to identify Ukrainian positions and understand the defense system of Ukraine’s units so it could later target the Ukrainians with artillery fire, explained Baiev.
When things don’t go according to plan for the invaders, they do not hesitate to open artillery fire on infantry concentration areas of their own military.
“Friendly fire occurs when the operation fails, their plans collapse, and they see they’re losing the initiative. Or when we start certain actions, moving slightly forward with small counterattacks, they spare no ammunition and shell the areas where their units are based,” Baiev said.
This approach is possible for the Russian command not only because they lack moral and ethical limits but also due to their ample human resources, which they can throw into the slaughter, confident that any losses will be quickly replenished, the Ukrainian lieutenant colonel stated.
“We actually observe, from various sources — from our aerial reconnaissance and during the interrogation of Russian POWs — that the enemy is regularly reinforced with manpower,” said the Ukrainian National Guard officer.
Earlier, a Russian attack on Kharkiv killed three and injured 34 people. The Russians launched eight FAB-500 aerial bombs at residential areas of the city.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that the youngest victim is a 17-year-old girl, while the oldest is 87 years old.
