Details: UK Defence Intelligence said that the Russian Federation could have supplemented Iranian-made drones with weapons manufactured at its factories.
They cited data from late November that a Ukrainian SIM card and a 4G modem were found in one of the downed Shahed drones.
UK intelligence stated that in this way, Russia is trying to improve real-time targeting using cellular towers to reduce dependence on satellite navigation.
In addition, this could be an attempt to weaken Ukraine's electronic warfare capabilities.
Some other Russian-made attack drones were painted black, making them difficult to detect visually at night.
Background: In the previous review, UK Defence Intelligence reported on the fighting for Marinka in Donetsk Oblast.
