Russian airstrike in Zaporizhzhia leaves one dead, 32 injured
Russian forces targeted residential areas and infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia with six aerial bombs, resulting in multiple casualties, Ukrainian authorities report.
The number of casualties from a Russian air strike on Zaporizhzhia increased to 32 injured and one fatality as of the evening of 1 October, according to Governor Ivan Fedorov.
Russian military launched an airstrike on the city of Zaporizhzhia on 1 October with six aerial bombs. According to local authorities, the enemy targeted residential areas and infrastructure facilities.
According to the Governor, among the 32 injured are 9, 10, and 12-year-old children.
Rescue workers have completed search and rescue operations at all affected addresses, the emergency services report.
