Background:
- On 8 July, the Russians launched a missile attack on Ukraine. They hit the Okhmatdyt hospital, the ADONIS private clinic and residential buildings in Kyiv.
- Two adults, one of them a doctor, were killed in the attack on Okhmatdyt.
- An entire section of a building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv was destroyed as a result of the strike, killing 13 people Two more people were killed at an industrial facility in Shevchenkivskyi district.
- The Domino business centre was damaged in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv, killing seven people.
- A four-storey building belonging to the ADONIS clinic was partially destroyed in the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv, and nine people were killed.
