Russian attacks kill 1, injure 17 over past day
In the attack on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight into 20 March, the Russian military hit a private house, injuring an entire family: a 12-year-old brother, a 19-year-old sister, a 57-year-old father, and a 47-year-old mother.
The Russian military attacked six oblasts, killing one civilian and injuring 17 others, local authorities reported on 20 March.
In Donetsk Oblast, the Russian military injured 4 people in Selydove and one in New York over the past day, Governor Vadym Filashkin said.
Over the past day, Russia attacked 20 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, injuring a 56-year-old man, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said. A 47-year-old tractor driver reportedly was injured as a result of the detonation of an explosive device in a field in the Oblast.
Russian troops’ shelling on the oblast also damaged residential buildings, outbuildings, a car, and power lines.
In Kherson Oblast, the Russian military shelled residential areas, killing one person and injuring five others, Governor Oleksandr Produkin said. The attacks over the past day on the oblast also damaged two multi-story and eight residential buildings, an administrative building, a preschool, port infrastructure, and a car.
Russian military attacked Synelnyk district in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight into 20 March, wounding five people, according to Governor Serhii Lysak. Russian attack hit a private house, injuring the whole family. The brother and sister, aged 12 and 19, and the 57-year-old father are reportedly in moderate condition. The 47-year-old woman is more seriously wounded, the governor said.
Over the past day, Russian troops also attacked Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and Sumy, Mykolaiv oblasts. There were no casualties reported.
