Russian attacks kill 7, injure 12 over past day in Kherson, Donetsk, Kharkiv oblasts
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russian troops killed 4 Ukrainians, including a 6-year-old girl, and injured 6 other people, according to the local governor.
Russian military attacked five Ukrainian oblasts over the past day, killing seven civilians and injuring 12 others, local authorities reported on 29 February.
Russian troops shelled 19 settlements of the Kherson Oblast, killing one person and injuring two people, Governor Oleksandr Produkin said on the morning of 29 February. The attack damaged 12 residential buildings and 40 private houses in the oblast.
Russia’s military also attacked the city of Kherson, damaging a critical infrastructure facility, an administrative building, and a printing house, and a garage.
Russian forces shelling on nine settlements in Kharkiv Oblast over the past day killed four people, including a 6-year-old girl, and injured six people, Governor Oleh Syniehubov said.
The Russian attack on the oblast hit a pharmacy, residential buildings, a cafe, a church and an outbuilding.
In Donetsk Oblast, Russian occupying forces killed two residents in Siversk and Pereizne and injured four people in Chasiv Yar, Kurakhove, and Zhelanne, over the day, Governor Vadym Filashkin said.
Russian forces also attacked Sumy and Mykolaiv oblasts over the past day, but no casualties were reported.
