Details: In particular, the organisation is looking for agencies to assist with the hire and transportation of new personnel from India. As part of the deal, tickets must be provided for 150-300 Indian professionals who would travel to Russia in groups of 10-15 per month.
The documents also mention plans to assist personnel from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan with their tickets.
Other organisations are also looking for IT expertise from India, HeadHunter analysts say. According to them, in the first half of 2024, the number of vacancies in Russian companies climbed by 68% compared to the same period in 2023, to 764, and the number of invites increased by 62%, to 862.
Previously, due to a lack of workers, Russian companies were actively seeking IT specialists in Africa. According to HeadHunter, the number of vacancies surged by 17.6 times in Zimbabwe, 11 times in Cameroon, 10 times in Kenya, and 7.6 times in Algeria.
Maksut Shadayev, Russian Minister of Digital Economy, anticipated that the country's IT workforce will number 740,000 individuals in early 2024. At the same time, there was a shortage of 500,000-700,000 qualified professionals.
