Russian double missile strike on Odesa kills 16, injures 55 (updated)
On 15 March, Russia targeted Odesa with a double missile strike, resulting in the deaths of two first responders and 14 other civilians, at least 55 injuries, and damage to homes, a service station, a gas pipeline, and emergency vehicles.
On 15 March, Russia carried out a double missile strike on southern Ukraine’s port city of Odesa, targeting the same area two times, which resulted in multiple injuries and the deaths of two first responders.
“There are victims of the Russian missile attack on Odesa. All relevant services are working at the scene. The data is being clarified,” Oleh Kiper reported around noon.
About 40 minutes later, Kiper reported casualties:
“Unfortunately, the Russian missile attack killed a paramedic and an employee of the State Emergency Service who came to the scene after the first explosion to provide assistance. There are also seriously injured among the medics and rescuers. The total number of injured is being clarified, and all are being provided with the necessary medical care,” he wrote on Telegram.
