On 20 February, a Russian “kamikaze” drone struck a civilian car in the Kupiansk district of Kharkiv Oblast, resulting in the deaths of two civilians, Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, reported via Telegram.

Recently, Russian forces have intensified missile, airstrikes, and drone attacks on populated areas of Kharkiv Oblast amid daily attempts to conduct offensive operations in the Kupiansk direction to seize territories liberated by Ukrainian defenders in September 2022.
