Russian large-scale attack overnight: report emerges of damage to power facilities in Kyiv Oblast

High-voltage power grids have been damaged in Brovary district (Kyiv Oblast) in a large-scale combined Russian attack on the night of 19-20 June.

Quote: "High-voltage power grids in Brovary district have been damaged during the morning attack. By 05:00, power engineers had managed to restore power to about 5,250 houses using backup power sources."

Details: The aftermath of the attack is reportedly being dealt with. DTEK stressed that they are doing everything possible to restore power in Kyiv Oblast by the end of the day.

• On the night of 19-20 June, Russia launched yet another combined attack on Ukraine. Ukrainian air defence units have destroyed 5 out of the 9 Russian missiles launched and all the kamikaze drones.
• Ukrenergo reported that on the night of 19-20 June, Russian attacks damaged civilian energy infrastructure in four Ukrainian oblasts. The national energy company noted that equipment at energy infrastructure facilities in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, and Kyiv oblasts had been damaged.
