On the morning of 20 November, a Russian shelling attack killed two local men in Kherson and injured one more individual, according to local authorities.
“In the morning, the Russian army shelled the car park of a private transport company in Kherson. Two drivers were killed, and another person was wounded in the attack. Cars and a residential building were damaged,” Kherson Oblast Head Oleksandr Prokudin reported on his Telegram channel.
Earlier this morning, Prokudin said the ongoing Russian attacks injured six oblast residents, including a child, on the previous day.
According to the oblast head’s report, Russians carried out 51 fire attacks in Kherson region on 19 November, firing 323 munitions from mortars, artillery guns, multiple rocket launchers, tanks, S-60 anti-air cannon, RPG grenade launchers, and military aircraft. Kherson City saw 30 hits on 19 November, Prokudin says.
For months, Kherson City and Oblast have been subjected to Russia’s daily fire attacks due to the proximity of Russian positions to multiple Ukraine-controlled cities in the region that were liberated from the Russian occupation last fall.
