The Russian forces carried out a missile strike on a coal mine in Myrnohrad, Donetsk Oblast, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast.
“The missile hit a three-story administration building, resulting in the partial destruction of the building from floors 3 to 1,” the report states.
During the emergency rescue operation, rescuers pulled the body of a man from the rubble. His identity is being determined.
Rescuers cleared 85 tons of destroyed building structures.
Last week, on 6 January, the Russian troops shelled the village of Rivne in the Myrnohrad district of Donetsk Oblast. 11 people were killed then, including five children.
