In an unfolding situation that adds to the recent series of incidents, media sources are reporting a Russian Su-34 aircraft crash in the Genichesk district of the Kherson Oblast. Initial reports surfaced from Radio Liberty and the Crimean Wind Telegram channel. Eyewitnesses on the ground are sharing video footage, capturing what appears to be the aftermath of the Su-34 crash.

While these reports remain unverified, there are suggestions that the aircraft might have been targeted and brought down by the Ukrainian air forces. According to data from the General Staff of Ukraine’s forces, if confirmed, this would be the 340th aircraft shot down in the last two years. However, Russia has 300 more fighter jets ready against Ukraine as was reported yesterday.
