Russians attack Sumy Oblast from artillery, dropping 17 bombs

Within the last 24 hours, the Russians carried out 27 bombardments on the border and settlements of Sumy Oblast, dropping 17 mortar bombs on these territories.

Details: In total, 149 explosions were recorded. Damage was caused in the hromadas of Khotin, Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Putyvl, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, Esman and Znob-Novhorodske [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.].

The Russians fired from mortars on Krasnopillia hromada, 20 explosions were recorded.

The Russians have dropped nine bombs on Putyvl hromada.

Artillery shelling was recorded in Bilopillia hromada (7 explosions).

In Shalyhyne hromada, there were strikes launched from tubed artillery, resulting in five explosions. The Russians also fired mortars (17 explosions) and from multiple-launch rocket systems (11 explosions).

In Seredyna-Buda hromada, an FPV drone caused one explosion; an attack from an automatic grenade launcher (15 explosions), mortars (17 explosions) and multiple-launch rocket systems (17 explosions) were recorded.

In Esman hromada, mortar attacks took place (15 explosions).

Mortar attacks also occurred in Khotin hromada (2 explosions).

The Russians dropped eight bombs on Znob-Novhorodske hromada.

There were mortar attacks on Myropillia hromada (5 explosions).
