Russians hit frontline thermal power plant for 5th time during last month
The Russians struck one of the thermal power plants (TPP) belonging to DTEK Energo, Ukraine's main energy producer, in a frontline oblast on the night of 26-27 November. It has been the fifth attack on TPP over the course of the past month.

Quote: "One of the DTEK’s frontline TPPs was damaged as a result of the attack on 27 November. Fortunately, there were no casualties. As a result of the attack, residents of a settlement near the plant were left without electricity."
DTEK Energo reported serious damage to their equipment. After the attack ceased, power engineers have started dealing with the aftermath and making every effort to restore the power supply as soon as possible.
The company noted it would synchronise its actions with Ukrenergo, Ukraine’s national energy company, in order to maintain the reliable operation of the Ukrainian energy system.
DTEK Energo added that this was the fifth attack on one of the company's frontline TPPs over the past month.
