Russians lose almost 1,000 soldiers in one day

The Russian occupiers lost another 900 soldiers in Ukraine over the course of 8 December.

Details: The total combat losses of Russian troops between 24 February 2022 and 9 December 2023 are estimated to be as follows [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses – ed.]:

• approximately 338,120 (+900) military personnel;
• 5,632 (+6) tanks;
• 10,519 (+11) armoured combat vehicles;
• 8,058 (+1) artillery systems;
• 919 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems;
• 605 (+0) air defence systems;
• 324 (+0) fixed-wing aircraft;
• 324 (+0) helicopters;
• 6,136 (+0) tactical UAVs;
• 1,585 (+14) cruise missiles;
• 22 (+0) ships and boats;
• 1 (+0) submarines;
• 10,598 (+7) vehicles and tankers;
• 1,159 (+0) special vehicles and other equipment.
