On the night of 14 December, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine with 42 UAVs and S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles, Ukraine’s Air Forces reported.
The missiles were launched from three directions: Balaklava, Chauda – Crimea and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia. According to Ukraine’s Air Forces, the main direction of the attack was Odesa Oblast.
Ukraine’s air forces shot down 41 Russian Shahed drones.
Russian occupation forces attacked Odesa for the second night in a row, Odesa Oblast head Oleh Kiper said. Overnight into 14 December, Russian drones hit a dormitory, injuring 11 people, including three children. The children and two adults were hospitalized, the local governor said.
The Russian military also launched 20 drones into the Izmail district of Odesa Oblast, targeting port infrastructure and damaging warehouses. Reportedly, there were no injuries.
At night the Russian army also targeted Myroliubivka village in Kherson Oblast, killing one woman, the Kherson Oblast Prosecutor’s Office reported.
According to local governor Oleksandr Prokudin, over the last day, the Russian army fired 35 shells at the city of Kherson, resulting in damage to residential areas, a medical facility, an educational institution, critical infrastructure in Kherson Oblast, and a business center in Kherson. The attacks killed 1 person and injured 1 more.
