Secretary Blinken’s Meeting with NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg

Blinken met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg today in Brussels ahead of the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting. Secretary Blinken and Secretary General Stoltenberg discussed priorities for the Alliance, including preparations for the Washington Summit and NATO’s 75th Anniversary in 2024, continued support to Ukraine, and security in the Western Balkans. The Secretary and the Secretary General also conferred on NATO’s investment and readiness commitments to further strengthen the Alliance’s deterrence and defense.
