Background: On 4 September, the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) dismissed Ruslan Strilets, Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine, who had held the post since April 2022.
For reference: Svitlana Hrynchuk used to be the deputy minister of energy. In 2022, she became the deputy minister of ecology. Among other things, she was responsible for the ratification and implementation of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
