Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation has signed a memorandum with Switzerland to provide $68.1 million in funding to support various digitalization projects through 2028.

According to Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, the agreement, signed with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) on 18 September, will fund digital initiatives in healthcare, education, e-notary services, humanitarian demining, the State Statistics Service, and digital development of frontline communities.

Switzerland has been a key partner in Ukraine’s digital transformation efforts since 2015, providing over 30 million francs in support through the EGAP program.

The minister highlighted several projects already realized with Swiss support, including launching online marriage services, creating the Mriya educational app for 40 schools, and initiating Diia testing for civil servants.

The memorandum was signed during a meeting between Fedorov and Felix Baumann, the Swiss Ambassador to Ukraine, solidifying the continuation of Swiss-Ukrainian cooperation in the digital sphere.
