This year, the United States and Thailand celebrated 190 years of diplomatic relations—a testament to the strength of our enduring alliance. We welcomed Thailand’s new government, and we will continue to deepen our bilateral relationship. In the coming year, we look forward to partnering with Thailand to implement the U.S.-Thai Communiqué on Strategic Alliance and Partnership. Through the Communiqué, we will enhance our cooperation in several areas, including accelerating economic growth, addressing climate change, advancing global health, strengthening our security cooperation, building inclusive democracies, and promoting people-to-people ties. Congratulations to all the people of Thailand on this important occasion. We are honored to have you as a friend, partner, and ally. I wish you a peaceful and prosperous year ahead.
