Details: In the first half, the teams scored as many as eight goals between them. Venezuelans fought back twice, making the score 1-1 and 3-3, but Ukrainians went on break with a two-goal handicap.
After the break, Ukrainians increased their lead and qualified for the semi-finals. Interestingly, one of the goals was scored by Oleksandr Sukhov, Ukrainian goalkeeper.
The main hero of the game was Danylo Abakshyn who notched a hat-trick in the first half and made two successful passes to Rostyslav Semenchenko and Mykola Mykytiuk in the second half.

For the second time in history, Ukraine became a semi-finalist at the Futsal World Cup. The first time it succeeded was in 1996, when Ukrainians took 4th place, losing the semi-finals and the bronze medal match.
In the semi-finals, Ukraine will compete against the Brazilian team, which defeated the Moroccan team in the quarterfinals. The match of the semi-final will be held on 2 October in Tashkent and start at 18:00 Kyiv time.
