Ukraine downs 23 out of 31 UAV drones across 5 oblasts overnight
Russia attacked Ukraine with 31 drones, 6 missiles of different types, launched from Russian and occupied territories.
The Russian military attacked Ukraine overnight with 31 UAV drones of the Shahed type, three anti-aircraft guided missiles S-300, an anti-radar missile Kh-31P and two cruise missiles Kh-22, Ukraine’s Air Forces reported on 23 February.
Ukraine’s air defense destroyed 23 attack UAVs over Odesa, Mykolaiv, Poltava, Dnipro, and Kharkiv oblasts.
Russian troops launched the drones from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, Cape Chauda in Russian-occupied Crimea, and the missiles from Donetsk Oblast and the Black Sea.
Crimea has become a Russian military base as well as other occupied territories and is used as a launch point for attacks on Ukraine and further aggression.
