Ukraine has accumulated three times the standard stock of power equipment for winter

Ukrenergo, Ukraine's electricity transmission system operator, has built up a stockpile of power equipment that is three times larger than the standard requirement as part of its preparations for the upcoming winter

Details: "We have a full range of essential power electrical equipment and a reserve stock of emergency transformers. This year, we are likely more prepared than ever for all possible winter scenarios and ready to respond to them effectively," Brekht noted.

• Ukraine can endure the winter without blackouts at temperatures of zero degrees Celsius and above.
• Ukrenergo, Ukraine's electricity transmission system operator, regards the scenario of a catastrophe caused by a lack of electricity in winter as pessimistic, but winter will not be easy.
• Generation deficits and blackouts are inevitable, and in the best-case scenario, there will be no electricity for up to 5 hours a day.
