Ukraine's Air Force destroys 10 out of 17 Shahed UAVs

Russia launched 17 Shahed attack UAVs and 6 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles on Ukraine on the night of 4-5 December, and Ukrainian defence systems downed 10 Russian drones.

Quote: "A total of 17 Shahed attack drones and six S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles were recorded. During combat operations, 10 attack UAVs were destroyed in different Ukrainian oblasts."

Details: The Air Force reported that the Russians targeted civilian facilities in Donetsk and Kherson oblasts with missiles.

Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups from the Ukrainian Air Force and Defence Forces were engaged to repel the air attack. 

Later, Vitalii Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, reported that two Shahed UAVs had been destroyed over Mykolaiv Oblast.
