Ukraine's Armed Forces repel Russian assaults on 7 fronts and advance on 2 more; 38 combat clashes in past day

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled numerous attacks by the Russian invaders on seven fronts, and also conducted an offensive on the Melitopol and Bakhmut fronts. In the course of the day, 38 combat clashes were recorded.

Details: On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there were no significant changes. There were no signs of the formation of offensive groups. Certain units of the Armed Forces of Belarus performed tasks along the border with Ukraine.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians maintained a military presence in the border areas and continued to carry out sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation. They further increased the density of landmine barriers along the state border of Ukraine. About 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling of the enemy, including Karpovychi and Leonivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Obody, Znob-Novhorodske and Stara Huta in Sumy Oblast; and Pletenivka and Budarky in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three Russian attacks in the vicinity of Ivanivka in Kharkiv Oblast. The Russians launched airstrikes on the vicinity of Synkivka and Petropavlivka in Kharkiv Oblast. About 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks, including Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Ivanivka and Kyslivka in Kharkiv Oblast. 

On the Lyman front, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled all Russians attacks near Nadiia, Luhansk Oblast. The Russian forces launched an airstrike in the area of Serebrianske Lisnytstvo. At the same time, about 10 settlements were affected by artillery and mortar strikes, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast; Spirne and Rozdolivka in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled about 10 Russian attacks in the areas near Bohdanivka, Khromove, Klishchiivka and Andriivka in Donetsk Oblast. The Russians launched airstrikes near Klishchiivka and Niu-York. About 15 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Kurdiumivka and Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Avdiivka front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful assaults, with the support of aviation, in the vicinity of Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka and Tonenke in Donetsk Oblast. In this area, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled about 10 attacks. The Russians also launched an airstrike near Orlivka. About 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks, including Keramik, Stepove, Avdiivka, Opytne, Sieverne and Pervomaiske in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Marinka front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful assaults, with the support of aviation, in the areas of Marinka and Pobeda, Donetsk Oblast, where the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled more than 10 attacks. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar attacks, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka and Pobeda in Donetsk Oblast. 

On the Shakhtarsk front, the Russians launched an airstrike in the area of Staromaiorske, Donetsk Oblast. Ukrainian soldiers repelled all Russian attacks near Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Oblast. About 10 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks, including Vodiane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva and Urozhaine in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Ukrainian soldiers repelled a Russian attack southeast of Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The Russians launched airstrikes on the areas of Novodarivka, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Piatykhatky in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Over 25 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks, including Poltavka, Huliaipilske, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka and Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the Kherson front, the Russian forces launched airstrikes on the areas of the settlements of Olhivka, Lvove, Tiahynka, Mykilske, Prydniprovske in Kherson Oblast. Darivka, Zelenivka, Antonivka, Kizomys in Kherson Oblast, as well as Solonchaky in Mykolaiv Oblast were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s Defence Forces are continuing to pursue the offensive on the Melitopol front and to carry out offensive operations on the Bakhmut front, inflicting personnel and equipment losses on the Russian forces and wearing them out all along the frontline.

In the course of the day, the Ukrainian Air Force inflicted seven attacks on clusters of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment and three more on their anti-aircraft missile systems.

Units of the Ukrainian Rocket Forces destroyed eight artillery pieces, an electronic warfare station, a Russian pontoon bridge crossing, and four clusters of personnel, weapons and military equipment.
