Quote: "A total of 26 Russians have been captured in one battle in Kursk Oblast. Halychyna airborne troops are continuing to replenish the stock of POWs for exchange by capturing Russian soldiers in Kursk Oblast.
During one of the enemy’s unsuccessful assaults, airborne troops from the 80th Brigade killed a large number of enemy soldiers, and those who miraculously survived decided to surrender, a decision that saved their lives."
Details: In a video posted by the 80th Air Assault Brigade, a Russian soldier from the Storm unit, made up of former convicts, says he had been promised training in a suitable military specialism. Instead, he describes his experience as "nine days of training, an assault rifle shoved into my hands, four days in the forest, and then straight into battle".
