Ukrainian drones hit Russian arsenal in Bryansk, 8 blasts reported

Ukrainian forces struck a key Russian military logistics base in Bryansk overnight, with drones targeting ammunition warehouses and triggering at least eight explosions, Ukraine’s General Staff reported Friday.

The strike showcases Ukraine’s growing fleet of domestically produced long-range drones, developed as an alternative to Western weapons that are restricted from hitting targets within Russia. These Ukrainian-made drones can reach targets up to 1,000 kilometers away.

“Our drones successfully hit the 1060th Logistics Support Center, previously the 120th Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian armed forces,” the General Staff said.

Surveillance data showed two separate ignition points and evidence of secondary detonations at the facility.

Military officials are still evaluating the extent of damage to the facility.

Earlier, The Russian Defense Ministry reported that a total of 70 were taken down across Russian territory, including 34 drones over Moscow Oblast.
