Ukrainian Parliament dismisses Environment Minister Ruslan Strilets

The Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) has dismissed Ruslan Strilets as Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine.

Details: 244 MPs voted in favour of the decision. 

Ruslan Strilets was appointed Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine on 14 April 2022.
Background:

• The Verkhovna Rada had previously voted for the dismissal of Oleksandr Kamyshin as Minister of Strategic Industries. 
• The Verkhovna Rada also voted for the dismissal of Olha Stefanishyna as Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine.
