Soldiers of the 73rd Maritime Centre of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled an assault by the North Korean military on a position of Ukrainian defence forces in Russia's Kursk Oblast, inflicting significant losses on the Russian army.

Details: It is noted that during the attempted Russian assault, the SOF operators opened fire from an MK-19 automatic easel grenade launcher and also dropped a series of munitions from drones.
As a result, the SOF killed 12 North Korean soldiers and wounded another 20.
The SOF added that during this operation, their operators were able to provide first aid to a wounded infantryman from a friendly unit and successfully evacuated him from the battlefield.
