Operators from the 73rd Naval Centre of Special Operations named after Kish otaman Antin Holovaty carried out a daring operation to rescue 16 servicemen from three different Ukrainian defence forces units encircled in Russia's Kursk Oblast.

Quote: "At 02:00, SOF operators were tasked with rescuing a group of servicemen from allied units trapped in an encirclement. Within two hours, the operators planned the mission and set out on two armoured Humvees to save their brothers-in-arms.

The evacuation team faced intense fire from enemy tanks, heavy machine guns and FPV drones."
