As a consequence of a Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) special operation, another train carrying fuel exploded on a crucial bridge along the Baikal-Amur Railway in Russia, Ukrainska Pravda reported on 1 December, referring to its unnamed security source.
According to the source, this explosion was the second stage of the SBU’s special operation to disable this vital railroad connecting Siberia to European Russia. Russian military logistics heavily depend on the railway network, with the Baikal-Amur Railway serving as a critical artery for transporting weapons and troops. It is a key component of Russia’s military and civilian logistics infrastructure.

In order to maintain train traffic, Russian authorities initiated a detour route via the Devil’s Bridge, also located in Buryatia, precisely as anticipated by the Ukrainian Security Service (SBU). As the train traversed this elevated 35-meter bridge, the concealed explosive devices were triggered, the source told Ukrainska Pravda.
