The entity specializes in manufacturing aviation components, specifically the parts and bodies of Shahed-136 UAVs. Chekad Sanat Faraz Asia reportedly operates as a front company of the IRGC, which was designated as a foreign terrorist organization (FTO) by the United States in 2019. Iran-based Saad Sazeh Faraz Sharif has also contributed to the production of the Shahed series UAVs. The entity offers aerospace engineering services and manufactures parts of the Shahed UAVs, specializing in components, electronic circuits, and optical and communication systems. Both entities are being designated pursuant to Section 1(a)(i) of E.O. 13949 for engaging in activity that materially contributes to the supply, sale, or transfer, directly or indirectly, to or from Iran, or for the use in or benefit of Iran, of arms or related materiel, including spare parts. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Aerospace Force (IRGC ASF) Deputy Commander Brigadier General Sayyed Hosein Majid Mousavi Eftekhari has engaged in activities that have materially contributed to Iran’s ballistic missile program. Sayyed Hosein Majid Mousavi Eftekhari is being designated pursuant to Section 1(a)(ii) of E.O. 13382 for engaging, or attempting to engage, in activities or transactions that have materially contributed to, or posed a risk of materially contributing to, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction or their means of delivery (including missiles capable of delivering such weapons), including efforts to manufacture, acquire, possess, develop, transport, transfer or use such items, by Iran, a foreign country of proliferation concern.
